Cultural CampThe Métis Cultural Camp is series of interactive hands-on workshops that explore a variety of traditional Métis Art forms. We’re proud to work in partnership with the Gabriel Dumont Institute and SCYAP for some workshop offerings. GDI also offers a variety of Métis resources and products for sale throughout the weekend. Our popular Traditional Métis Dance workshops are part of the Cultural Camp and are held on the main stage dance floor to accommodate larger numbers. Lead by the incredible Creeland Dancers, these workshops take place after fiddle contest preliminaries on Saturday afternoon.

“I enjoy seeing the young people becoming immersed and carrying on the traditions. Love that the opportunity is there for all ages to participate in all activities and the chance to meet so many people that are like minded. All races are welcome. The Fiddle Fest brings us back to our heritage.” Alda Mitchell, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta
